Colors of Love
May 25, 2009 by Helen
I think you’ve heard many times that men say the best present for them is a woman they love. This is true and lots of us use this idea to make the occasion the most amazing and memorable. It is easy and doesn’t cost you much but you need to choose some nice lingerie to gladden your beloved and drive him absolutely mad with your terrific look.
.

When selecting lingerie you should think twice and the first thing to consider is the feelings you wish to provoke. Do you want him to be tender? Passionate? Romantic? Admirable? When you know exactly what you need, set off for a lingerie store.
.
Red & burgundy
.
Red lingerie is thought to be the hottest and sexiest. Men lose their heads as soon as their beloved don something in these hues.

It’s nice-looking, tempting and dramatic. If you want the night to be filled with passion and crazy love-making this color is the perfect choice for your lingerie. Try any designs and styles, this color makes all of them look fantastic!

Since 1850th Vuitton set the standards for extravagance, luxury and craftsmanship. LV is a subsidiary of LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey), the first global group to specialize in prestigious luxury products. LVMH – the world leader in luxury which possesses a unique portfolio of some 50 prestigious brands. The Group is active in five different sectors: Wines & Spirits, Fashion & Leather Goods, Perfumes & Cosmetics, Watches & Jewelry, Selective retailing. Most recently, the Group introduced Vuitton’s ready-to-wear line. LV is more than just a quality of fashion products – it’s a lifestyle in vogue.
Louis Vuitton began manufacturing trunks in Paris in 1854, and the company he started became one of the world’s most famous makers of luxury goods, known especially for its designer luggage pattern: a beige-on-chestnut monogram, “LV.” Vuitton’s high-quality traveling trunks were such a hit in 1850th that every then “celebrity” (including Ismail Pasha, Khedive of Egypt, Grand Duke Nicholas – future Tzar of the Russian Empire and King Alphonse XII of Spain) ordered a set of trunks. The Vuitton line gained international recognition winning a bronze medal at the 1867 World’s Fair and a gold medal at the 1889 World’s Fair, both held in Paris. Lately Vuitton began a series of innovations: he built flat stacked trunks covered with canvas. This new method protected the luggage and its precious contents and soon met with considerable success – but attractive canvas was copied almost immediately. In 1873, LV launched a counter-attack, introducing a canvas bearing red stripes on a beige background, and a few years later, with a beige monochrome. Success was overwhelming, but with the same result: more and more counterfeit copies.

After Louis death in 1892, his son, Georges, took the company to new heights, developing what is recognized as the first “designer label” on a product – “LV” monogram. LV luggage thus became the first manufactured products to bear the brand name on the outside. Georges also developed the celebrated five-tumbler lock. Unpickable, each lock has its own number that allows the owner to open his entire luggage with a single key. Ever since its invention, this lock has been an element of all suitcases and trunks produced by LV.
In 1998 the superstar New York designer Marc Jacobs joined the firm as Artistic Director. He launches a pret-a-porter Vuitton line, a far cry from the historic luggage and bags. His designer clothes are so popular that Louis Vuitton now produces an entire collection of his shoes and launches in 2004 a jewellery collection as well as highly demanded watches collection. Now barely 40, Jacobs was behind the latest hot handbag wowing the wannabes, the manga “eye” bags designed by Takashi Murakami, a cult Japanese artist whose clean colours and flower shapes have livened up the brown and gold LV leather. Saying it wanted a “sophisticated, influential and sexy woman,” LVMH signed Jennifer Lopez in 2003 for its fall-winter advertising campaign. Marc Jacobs wanted a “contemporary icon” to represent the company and sought “a sophisticated, influential and sexy woman.”
Louis Vuitton Handbags
Louis Vuitton Handbags spell one word: classy. Louis Vuitton Bags combines fresh and trendy to make the perfect accessory for any outfit working for any season and any occasion.
Besides handbags, luggage and apparel, LV has a variety of luxury office products like alligator covering The Cargo Fountain Pens, and gold-plated Doc Pens. In Sept 1997, Louis Vuitton produced a new product line named Taiga for men. It includes all office accessories, purse, and luggage. The luggage series include backpack, small luggage for a short trip, suitcases.

With the huge influence of recession many designers have focused their attention on accessories rather than garments. Jewelry, shoes, handbags of this season are very unusual and bright.
.

.
Besides, they are present everywhere, in every single collection, worn with pride and an elegant air by all the top models on the catwalk.
The handbag is no longer considered by designers as a mere accessory that can be included or may be ignored. It has become a fundamental element of a woman’s look. Its mission is not limited to practicality; it is chic and complements a woman’s personality and style.
Trends of this season (Spring 2009/Summer 2009) very much, from highly practical huge totes to tiny eccentric clutches for evening wear. Every woman of fashion will be able to find something that suits her style and taste.
.

.
Wide, very comfortable bags in all colors imaginable – beige, white, black, metallic, gold, violet, orange, green, blue, etc. – will be extremely popular this season.
.

.
They are intended mostly for everyday wear: for shopping, work, college classes. Bags in this style are presented in collections by Versace, Bottega Veneta, Ralph Lauren, Sui, Diane von Furstenberg, Rossi, Valentino and others..

.
So comfortable and roomy!
.

.
Medium-sized handbags have found their place in lines from Dolce&Gabbana, La Perla, Missoni, Ferragamo, Armani, Michael Kors, Sonya Rykiel, Miu-Miu, etc.
.
.
These bags combine both comfort and elegance, grace and practicality. Some are rather simple, others are literally works of art.
.

.
Designers made different styles and designs.
.

.
There are a lot of tiny and medium sized clutches of ordinary design or very exclusive and sophisticated style. Clutches are widely presented in almost every collection.
.

.
Materials used vary from reptile leather of different colors to silk fabrics embellished with sequins. Great choice and pure femininy..

.
Look for clutches in Valentino, Pucci, Diane von Furstenberg, Donna Karan, Louis Vuitton’s collections.
Patchwork has entered the world of fashion last season..

.
There were just a few bags and shoes made in this style but they immediately became very popular. In the new season we see patchwork as a trend already. Now there are more of those designers who decided to introduce this new tendency into their collections: Dolce & Gabbana, Just Cavalli, Frisoni, Chloe, Balinciaga and others.
The classic strap handbag, worn on the shoulder is fashionable and practical as this allows you to have both your hands absolutely free.
.

.
The hues used are quite diverse: strong colors like violet, red and black or softer shades like white or beige. Pucci, Dolce&Gabbana, Burberry, Ralph Lauren have created bags of this kind for us.
.

.
As a subtrend of a strap bag I can call a bag with a chain instead of a usual strap. There are plenty of bags with chains. They look chic, feminine, unusual and classy.
.

.
I’m sure this trend will become one of the most favorite by fashionistas all over the world. Designers to work with this style are: Dolce&Gabbana, Pucci, Balenciaga, Ferragamo, Givenchi, etc.
Folk motif. This is the hottest trend Spring/Summer 2009 in clothes and I’m really happy that it’s spread to bags too.
.

.
Nice interesting models with unusual patterns and prints look wonderful. Sui, Choo and Fendi have enriched the whole bag variety with the traditions-based items.
Reptile leathers are so widely used in collections that I decided it should be a separate trend of the season. Different colors, various styles – to the most particular taste!
.

.
And the last but not the least, extraordinary bags! The more unusual your bag is the better. Extraordinary means everything that is very unlike other things, a standout, something that strikes your mind, for example the bags you see at the pictures below.

.
Fashion from the ’80s is very popular now and of cause the hipster celebrities continue to sing their praises.
And it’s very comfortable outfit! You can wear leggings under a mini or with a tunic, and paired with chic boots and layered necklaces, leggings need only a bag to complete your hip look. Celebrities have there own style of leggings.
These ladies do follow the leather (or leather like) skinny pants or leggins celebrity trend!

Timelessness is one of those attributes that everyone wishes to attain, but few are afforded the time to achieve. Over the past 45 years, Valentino has captured the attention of an international fashion audience with his glamorous gowns and elegant ensembles that have stood the test of changing trends and time. While wealthy fashion lovers around the world collect his vintage couture, Valentino’s new collections continue to draw the attention and applause of fashion editors, celebrities, and socialites. A designer favored by the famous women of history and Hollywood alike, Valentino has made a name for himself as a designer who’s opulent fashions will forever go untouched by time.

Why the style of Valentino is magnetic and impressive? Why the elegant women like him so much and first class ladies like Elizabeth Taylor and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis don’t hesitate to confide in him before he becomes world famous designer?
One of the explanations is the poetry of his style. His style is so refined that it can be compared to the ancient Greek and ancient Roman sculptures. Usually in his works a note of dramatism can be observed which is due to his ability to attach great importance to the situation, to the event, to the personal role through clothes either to receptions, cocktails and balls or other special and official sphere. This dramatism should be unthinkable without his trade colour – red. His element is woman fashion. Short or long, with luxurious applications or without them, with uncovered or with covered shoulders – the dresses with trade mark “Valentino” are a demonstration of secret eroticism, femininity and harmony.
Valentino founded “the plural proportion”: dressings that make beautiful their owners, reinforce their self-confidence, but also underline the most beautiful in them. Today he is also unsurpassable virtuoso of the colours and the patterns in woman fashion. He is one of the biggest enemies of the careless and too casual fashion.
But what is the definition of elegance in Valentino’s opinion? Is it harmony, sense of measure or role model? In many interviews for different media he says: “The elegance is always the same, because in essence it is a question of harmony, of measure, of simplicity. And in the first place it is a question of attitude, of interior life and of intelligence. Of something that comes from inside and expresses at outward appearance”. The clients and the admirers of the designer are attractive and very impact women whose personal physical magnetism are
complemented from artistic talent and perfectly mastered manners of the public attitude. Gloria Guinness and Jacqueline Kennedy-Onassis, Sophia Loren and Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn and Sharon Stone, Ornela Mutti and Brooke Shields, Julia Roberts and Jennifer Lopez and many others are in this special register.
.
Valentino is a creator of highest class in the spirit of the big tradition of the highest fashion designers of the second half of XX century. His contribution to the refinement of the form and the cleaning of the silhouette in the fashion design is incontestable. As a whole the style “Valentino” is focused at the most attractive from the Italian manner of clothing – the tenderness, the romance and the simplicity.

One of the most exciting parts of your planning is deciding what you will wear on the big day. Your wedding is one of the most thrilling and touching moments in the life of any girl. We all want this day to be special and unique, nice and unforgettable, and very often we do believe that choosing a wedding dress is as easy.
Almost all wedding dresses are charming and beautiful and as a rule it is really challenging to choose the right dress that will look great. This article will help you choose the right wedding dress style for your own body shape and for your own special ceremony.
1. First of all, envision your wedding day and how your dress looks, and jot down a list of things that describe the dress of your daydreams. Every girl in her imagination has her future wedding dress. So, to find it in store, she needs month or two. And, what is why, our first advice – start to search your wedding dress beforehand.
2. Think about the ceremony you are going to have in order to buy a dress in appropriate style. Is it a very grand affair in a huge cathedral, a sophisticated evening event with a civil ceremony, a simple church wedding, a beach wedding in the tropics or a funky day in a modern hotel?
3. Choose a proper fabric. If you’re getting married in the winter, you may not want to be a very light, thin fabric unless you plan to be inside the entire time. If you’re having a beach wedding in the middle of July, you may not want to wear a heavy fabric like duchess satin.
4. You may also want to bear in mind how wearable a fabric is; you will be sitting and standing in it all day and you want it to look at its best in all of the photos. Try scrunching an inconspicuous area of the fabric in your hand to see how easy it is to crease.
5. Pick the color you feel most beautiful in. Before white became popular, the bride would simply wear her best dress and color was a matter of preference. Many women choose dress colors that best complement their skin tones, ranging from diamond white to ivory to champagne to actual colors (pink, blue, red). Several designers have included things like bright colored patterns on the bodice or skirt.
6. Search in internet weddings catalogue. Many shops have a website, and it is a good idea to have a look at that before you go as it should give you a list of the different designers stocked by the store and some idea of the prices. It helps to save your time.
7. Before you hit the shops it is also worth talking to your fiancé about what he likes and dislikes. As well as looking wonderful for yourself, you also want your husband-to-be to love the way you look.
8. Take a friend or a family member whom you trust with you. But don’t take more, than two people. They might never agree on the same dress, and you might end up confused and frustrated.
9. If you live in town go round all studious, but in cities concentrate of some which you choose in previous steps.
10. It is a good idea to wear a well-fitting bra, and take a good strapless one with you too for the different styles of dresses. It is also a good idea to wear nice pants that you don’t mind being seen in, as the assistant will come in to the changing room with you to help you in and out of the different frocks – this can be embarrassing if you are just in a thong, or a pair of elderly knickers that have seen better days.
11. If you are in bad mood move your trip. You should buy wedding dress only in high spirit!
12. Don’t buy your wedding dress in rush. Choose more 2-3 days to go other atelier and try to find the dress of your dream.
13. Remember, choosing a dress that is the height of fashion now may quickly look dated in your wedding photos.
14. Avoid being talked into buying a dress that costs more than you can afford. Set off with a budget in mind so you don’t accidentally try on and fall in love with a designer number that completely breaks the bank.
15. Another cheaper option to consider is renting a dress. This can be a far more affordable way to get you a fantastic dress (for the day). The other bonus does not have to clean, store, or ever deal with it again.

The C-String is a completely new and exciting innovation in lingerie. “Say goodbye to panty line and uncomfortable straps. Say hello to a sexy new freedom”, -the manufacturers say.
By eliminating the straps that even the teeniest of swimwear and tiniest of thongs always have this product promises to keep panty lines and tan lines at bay.

C-String has a flexible internal frame that hugs and holds it to the body both securely and comfortably. Your modesty remains safety covered at all times. At the front it looks like sexy underwear, held up with a little bit of wire at the back. To the sides it has nothing at all! The idea is that you pop it on, and it stays put. Think of an unevenly shaped wired headband, and you’re half-way there – the name derives from the C shape.

The manufacturers suggest that you wear it with outfits that might show a panty line, or even as swimwear so that you don’t get tan lines across your bottom.
The C-String has different styles and fabrics so that you may choose your own unique lingerie or swimwear.

Start with the butt
Your bottom and hips will always look thinner when you are dressed in a solid colour and it doesn’t even have to be black. It can be a beautiful incandescent hot pink if you like. But remember that solids tend to slim where other patterns don’t. Now a lot of us don’t go around wearing patterned pants but a lot of us wear patterned dresses and skirts – so be warned.
Small bust
If you are small busted then try for some wrap shirts, which will give you the illusion of a bigger bust and smaller waist.
Big bust
Avoid lighter colours on top for they will over-emphasize your bust size and go for a geometric-shaped top with a slim pant and you will have a more balanced look.
Big hips
Go for some flat front pants, which are always a winner.
Don’t be afraid to go for a black pencil skirt with black hose. It will make your hips do a disappearing act.
De-emphasize your waist
If you are trying to deemphasize your waist and or your middle then avoid crop jackets because they break up your natural lines rather then help you create long, lean lines.
Try a slightly raised waist that tends to make the torso look narrower and a flared skirt which also makes the waist look narrower.
Unless you are a super model avoid horizontal stripes.
Only buy a pleated skirt if the pleats are stitched down and don’t bunch up at the waist adding thickness.
